We’re Still Not Over Anne V’s Incredible SI Swimsuit Photo Shoot in Portugal

The model’s sixth brand appearance was a brilliant display of her beauty and skill in front of the camera.

Anne V was photographed by Stewart Shining in Portugal.

Between 2005 and 2014, Russian-American model Anne V made 10 consecutive appearances in the annual SI Swimsuit Issue. She established herself as a brand legend in that period.

Six years in, she traveled to Portugal to pose in front of talented photographer Stewart Shining’s lens. The finished results were, of course, brilliant. They were, in the model’s words, “very natural,” “very beautiful,” and “very in the moment,” she said while on set in the European country. The whole photo shoot gave the impression of “a girl on vacation having a good time,” she remarked.

In a place “known for ... its beautiful tiles,” Anne V posed in her colorful bikinis in front of colorful tiled backdrops and in natural scenery of the idyllic countryside. The experience really was what we might call the best of both worlds, as Shining had the chance to capture the model in a beach, city and countryside setting.

Unsurprisingly, she delivered. Having set foot on several SI Swimsuit photo shoots to that point, she had no trouble adapting to the changing scenery on set and showcasing her beauty and brilliant personality while she was at it.

Following the 2010 appearance, Anne V would pose for four more brand features in years to follow. While each and every one of her SI Swimsuit photo shoots has had its merit, today we’re taking a look back at that Portugal trip. Here are a few of our favorites from the day.
