Ashley Smith’s Route 66 SI Swimsuit Photo Shoot Will Make You Want to Road Trip This Summer

The 2015 rookie is the owner and founder of an NYC-based boutique modeling agency.

Ashley Smith was photographed by Ben Morris.

Ashley Smith was featured as an SI Swimsuit rookie in 2015 with a fun, flirty and stunning photo shoot along Route 66. The Texas native has been featured on the cover of Playboy, starred in a Diesel fragrance campaign and created a capsule clothing line with RVCA. She also founded her own modeling agency, No Agency, a few years ago to represent “more muse and artist than model.”

Today, Smith doesn’t model as much as she used to and is focused on growing her Instagram platform, which now has 117,000 followers.

“I’m just myself on Instagram, that’s what works for me. Everyone is different. Personally, the people I want to follow are the ones doing something interesting and a little off the beaten path. Perfection bores me, but that’s just me,” Smith said. “I honestly don’t think social media had anything to do with my success in the beginning, I was just good at my job, that’s why I succeeded. But I totally believe in Instagram as a tool. If used correctly, it can help someone’s business really take off.”

Below are seven of our favorite photos from Smith’s 2015 photo shoot with Ben Morris.
