Courtney Conlogue Trades Her Bikini for a Snow Suit, Impressively Shreds Fresh Powder
Courtney Conlogue is hopping on her board and hitting the slopes—yes, you heard that right. The professional surfer embraced a popular winter sport recently, and it turns out she’s got major snowboarding skills.
The 31-year-old, who was featured in the 2020 SI Swimsuit Issue, effortlessly shredded powder down a steep run at Mammoth Mountain in Northern California. She rocked a gray puffer coat, hot pink insulated pants, a light pink helmet and multicolored tinted sunglasses for the occasion. The Santa Ana, Calif., native, who was inducted into the Surfing Walk of Fame as the Woman of the Year in 2019, was filmed navigating the trees and traveling with speed. She raised her arms, smiled and did a little happy dance at the end of the slope as she came to a slow and stable stop.
“Fresh pow pow! Yes please! @mammothmountain 📷 @landontrixx,” she captioned the Jan. 20 video she shared with her 191,000 followers. Conlogue also tagged her cameraman, fellow athlete Landon Holman. The clip was set to the sound of Metro Boomin’s “Raindrops (Insane) (Instrumental).”
“Time to come to our little spot in Utah!” Josh Kerr commented.
“Zoooooomin 🔥,” Felicity Palmateer chimed.
Yewwww ripping babe🙌,” the videographer added.
“Those turns .. Snow surfing,” one fan wrote.
“Always ripping thru life!!!!” another exclaimed.
“In between creating new beginnings I’m being sure to create time to switch off and enjoy natures gifts. Thank you @mammothmountain for the epic times!” Conlogue captioned another epic video of her winter trip.
