Emily DiDonato Modeled the Sweetest Spring-Inspired Swimsuits in Sacramento
Emily DiDonato made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2013, when the New York native traveled to Namibia with photographer Kayt Jones. Her continued work with the brand took her to Switzerland, Hawai’i, Turks and Caicos, Wyoming, and most recently, Sacramento, Calif.
In addition to her work with SI Swimsuit, the 32-year-old mom of two is known for her longstanding collaboration with Maybelline. DiDonato has also worked with high-fashion brands like Armani, Miu Miu, Ralph Lauren and Juicy Couture.
Today, DiDonato is the cofounder of skincare brand Covey and the host of her own podcast, ReModeling With Emily DiDonato. She uses her platform to encourage self-love, a concept she has previously spoken to SI Swimsuit about in depth.
“I remember wanting to look like other people and wanting to have bodies like other people,” she previously stated. “Once I allowed myself to not funnel so much energy into wishing I looked like somebody else, I was finally able to just be happy with who I was.”
While it’s difficult to pick out one of DiDonato’s SI Swimsuit photo shoots as a favorite, we find ourselves drawn back to her most recent feature, which took place in California, at this time of year. The pastel swimsuits she sported are reminiscent of a bright spring day, and are inspiring us to get going on our seasonal mood boards for warmer days ahead. Below are just a few of our favorite photos of DiDonato, captured by photographer Anne Menke.
