The four-time SI Swimsuit model co-won the brand’s open casting call in 2018.

After being declared the co-winner of the first Swim Search in 2018, Haley Kalil returned to the SI Swimsuit Issue as a rookie in ’19. After coming out of the open casting call process victorious, Kalil traveled to Kenya, where she posed for photographer Yu Tsai.

When she booked her first SI Swimsuit gig, the Minnesota native had no modeling experience—but you’d never know it, judging from her smolder in front of the camera. Kalil returned to the fold in both 2020 and ’21, traveling to Scrub Island, British Virgin Islands and Hollywood, Fla

Her most recent brand feature took place in the Sunshine State, and it’s safe to say that not everyone can pull off neon swimwear quite like Kalil. She posed for James Macari in several stunning bikinis and bold one-pieces.

“Confidence is key and you are your biggest competition,” she told BODE magazine of the industry at the time. “The modeling industry is hard. You are judged on your physical appearance and that is difficult for many people to handle. Just knowing that you are enough and that a ‘no’ doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you. A ‘no’ just means it wasn’t the right place or time. But that ‘yes’ will come… and if you stay humble, focused and work hard, it will happen at the perfect time!”

Today, the 31-year-old is focused on content creation. She regularly shares quirky videos with her 3.4 million Instagram followers and 7.6 million TikTok followers.

Below are a few of our favorite neon bikinis from Kalil’s photoshoot in Florida.
