Halle Bailey Is a Glistening Dream in Royal Blue Bikini and Belly Chain

Halle Bailey is a total dream in her latest Instagram post. The actress and singer knows royal blue makes her look like an absolute queen, and she’s running (or should we say swimming) with it. 

The Little Mermaid star traded Ariel’s signature purple bandeau top and green mermaid tail for a gorgeous Bydee swimwear two-piece and posed for a cheeky duo of pics taken from behind. Her hair was styled into long braided locks and she accessorized with shiny gold dangly statement earrings and a belly chain hung at the small of her waist. The 23-year-old flaunted her toned arms and back and hourglass figure as she looked off to her side and displayed her perfect profile. She stood hip-deep in gorgeous teal waters with lush greenery in the distant horizon and clear blue skies above.

“dreaming wide awake 🐬✨,” the Atlanta native captioned the carousel she shared with her 7.5 million followers on Nov. 13.

Bailey’s debut solo single, “Angel” has been nominated for Best R&B Song at the 2024 Grammy Awards, set to take place on Feb. 4.

“This song for me is so very special and near and dear to my heart. With everything I’ve gone through the past three to four years, suddenly finding myself in this bubble of all these eyes and new opinions, it was easy for me to feel doubt in myself and who I was,” she said of the track, which was released in August. “This song for me was my climb out of those feelings, a mantra and promise to myself that the work I’m doing here on earth matters and that I matter. I wanted to be able to embrace and be proud of myself and who I am naturally through and through. I hope other brown and Black girls and everyone in general feel embraced, respected, and inspired hearing the words of this song.”
