Izabel Goulart’s 5 Best Photos From Panama
Brazilian fashion model Izabel Goulart has been working in the industry since she she was just 14-years-old. So, by the time she set foot on the set of her first SI Swimsuit photoshoot in 2011 at the age of 27, she already had over a decade of experience under her belt. That debut took her to the beaches of Sentosa Island, Singapore, an idyllic location that made for a beautiful series of photos. She also double-dipped with a bodypaint feature in a New York studio.
She followed up that first impressive year by joining photographer Bjorn Iooss in Bocas del Toro, Panama in 2012. The pairing was, for Goulart in particular, ideal. She had been admiring the photographer’s work for years and was excited to have the opportunity to pose for him.
“I’ve always wanted to be shot by him, [so] I couldn’t be happier. The pictures are beautiful,” she said of the experience. “It’s been a fantastic shoot so far.”
Likewise, Goulart was thrilled for the chance to be in the beautiful Central American country. “Panama has been fantastic so far,” she gushed while on set. Though there was a lot of travel involved to get there, the model acknowledged that the beauty of the place and the experience made it “worth it.”
Integral to that experience was the team there with her. “We all have been having so much fun,” she said of the group. “Everyone makes you feel so good and everyone takes such good care of you. [It] makes life so easy.”
Here are a few of our favorite photos from that trip to Panama.
