Actress Julia Fox made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Oct. 18 to talk about her new memoir, Down the Drain. The Uncut Gems star also opened up about all things motherhood and dating.

While the 33-year-old mom of one revealed that she has “sworn off men,” Barrymore inquired what top qualities the model and actress would seek out in a potential partner if she were interested in dating. Fox had her answer at the ready.

“It would need to be someone who also has kids so that they understand that, like, they can never come first, that’s a big one,” Fox noted. “Then it would have to be someone that’s O.K. with seeing me once a week for a two hour window. Also, they have a driving force in their life that, like, isn’t me, you know what I mean? I can’t be the center of somebody’s life, like, I can’t have someone’s world revolve around me.”

Fox was married to Peter Artemiev for two years, and the two share a son, Valentino, together, who was born in January 2021. The No Sudden Move star has also been romantically linked to Kanye West in the past.

“I tend to get into those kinds of relationships and it just never ends well because ultimately, whatever vision of me they’re projecting on to me, isn’t who I actually am,” she added of prior partnerships. “And then when they see who I actually am, they’re like, ‘Oh, well,’ ya know.’”
