Q&A: Kate Bock and Emily DiDonato

This may be the first year Emily DiDonato and Kate Bock appeared in SI Swimsuit, but in two short months since the issue was released, the two have become household names. Emily got her start in the industry when a family friend convinced her to go to New York City and meet with an agency. They liked her so much they signed her and she began work the next day. In addition to SI, Emily has modeled for Maybelline, Aldo, Guess, Ralph Lauren, Victoria’s Secret and Georgia Armani. Kate, who won the 2013 Swimsuit Rookie of the Year Award, is a native of Vancouver and was discovered in high school while competing in a swim meet. She’s also an avid snowboarder who has been known to sleep with a snowboard under her bed in case an opportunity to board ever presents itself. As the video above demonstrates, the duo have come a long way since working at Dairy Queen (Kate) and a local pizza joint (Emily).
