Once upon a time, we had no idea what went on backstage at some of the world's most prestigious awards shows. But thanks to Snapchat and social-media crazed celebs, we now have a better understanding—which includes a little spanking between model Gigi Hadid and reality-TV star Kylie Jenner.

Yep, you read that right. Gigi and gal pal Kylie were selected to present an award at the AMAs, but it's their backstage performance that has the Internet in a frenzy. In a Snapchat video posted by stylist Monica Rose on Sunday, the 18-year-old reality star spanks Gigi three times, telling her to "bend over," before the 20-year-old model gets in a little swat of her own.

Perhaps even crazier than best friends who mess around like this for the world to see, is the fact that it wasn't even the biggest buzz surrounding our girl Gigi at the music awards show. Trending just hours after the show, Gigi left fans and media outlets around the world wondering if she'd done the unthinkable (chopping off her hair, that is), when she hit the red carpet with a seemingly short bob. Leave it to A-list makeup artists and hairdressers to find a way to fool even the most discerning eye, though.
