Lacy Schnoor Brought SI Swim to the Snowy Slopes for Her Photoshoot in Canada

The former Olympic skier was in her element, posing in bright red bikinis.

Lacy Schnoor was photographed by Warwick Saint in Whistler, Canada.

At the age of 18, Lacy Schnoor began making a name for herself in the world of freestyle skiing. It was 2003 and just the beginning of her seven-year stint on Team USA. Her impressive career featured two Worlds appearances and one stint at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

There’s no room for doubt, she more than proved her skill on the slopes. But what you maybe didn’t know is that the athlete is a complete natural in front of the camera, too.

The same year that she locked in a ninth place finish at the ’10 games in Vancouver, the now 38-year-old was featured in the annual SI Swimsuit Issue. The experience brought her back to the familiar slopes of Canada. Though not Vancouver—the site of her impressive Olympic Games finish—her trip to Whistler, Canada, made for a brilliant photoshoot on familiar terrain.

In a series of stark red bathing suits, she posed on the bright white snowy slopes, proving what we already knew: she can do it all.

The year following, she officially retired from professional skiing and from the U.S. Ski Team. Though it’s been more than 10 years since she stepped away from her sport and onto the set of her SI Swimsuit feature, we still aren’t over her photoshoot.

While each pic was more stunning than the next, we have chosen a few that we simply can’t get over that showcase both her athleticism and beauty. Check them out below.
