Lily Aldridge’s 6 Most Stunning Photos From Her Trip to Turks and Caicos

American model Lily Aldridge had an epic first appearance in the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2014, posing alongside Chrissy Teigen and Nina Agdal on the cover of the 50th anniversary issue. Following the cover appearance, the longtime Victoria’s Secret Angel made two more appearances in the magazine in ’15 and ’16. In her third consecutive feature, she traveled to Turks and Caicos with photographer James Macari for a fabulous photoshoot along the bright sand beaches and in the vibrant blue waters.

The model was “excited” to be back again, but admitted that the experience still didn’t “seem real,” even in her third year. The styling for the photoshoot featured a handful of bright, neon bikinis, a fitting choice against the backdrop of the Turks and Caicos water, which was “so blue and so beautiful,” she said on set. “It’s hard to take a bad picture with this as your backdrop.”

More than just an opportunity to pose for a series of “magical photos,” though, the feature, like the others before it, was “so much fun,” Aldridge gushed. For her, SI Swimsuit is a family, with whom she could make “memories that you keep forever” each year.

While her third feature was an undeniably memorable experience for the model, it was even more so for us. Today, we’re reflecting on that incredible trip and the great memories it brought. Here are a handful of our favorite snapshots from the tropical trip.
