Lindsey Vonn Shows Off Toned Abs During Recent Gym Session

The athlete has a lot of fitness goals this year, and she’s getting after them.

Lindsey Vonn may be retired from her professional skiing career, but that doesn’t mean she has put away her passion for fitness. If anything, the persistent injuries that eventually forced her into retirement have ensured that the 39-year-old continues to spend time in the gym, building strength even without an athletic career to train for.

She frequently shares footage from her various gym sessions, proving that fitness continues to be a really important aspect of her daily routine. For Vonn, getting in “a solid sweat” is the key to feeling good, she said in an Instagram post late last year.

In fact, many of the former alpine skier’s 2024 goals revolved around achievements in the gym. With that in mind, she’s made her sessions consistent—and, thus, her resulting posts about them have been fairly regular.

She shared her latest footage from a sweat session on Instagram on Feb. 27. The video, which was filmed in the gym of Vonn’s longtime sponsor, Red Bull, showed the athlete laying face down in a glute ham developer machine. While holding her upper body still, she reached a weight up overhead and then drew it back in toward her chest. All the while, she proved her impressive core strength and showed off her toned abs in a cropped T-shirt.

Vonn is nothing if not dedicated. She already proved that in her years of professional skiing. Now, she’s continuing to prove it on her own time, in her home gym. Needless to say, she continues to impress us.
