SI Swimsuit’s festivities began earlier in the day with a brunch and panel discussion featuring female founders, including Nicole Williams English, a rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue. Later, cover girl Brooks Nader did a live makeup demonstration with DIBS, a cruelty-free and vegan brand, while guests enjoyed piercing activations, courtesy of Electric Picks, and complimentary scalp massages from Divi.
In addition to participating in SI Swimsuit’s open casting call competition, Sims is an entrepreneur. She is the founder and president of HBBQs, Inc., which runs the Pageant of Hope™, an international event that’s renowned as the most inclusive pageant in the world. The Georgia native has also partnered with brands like Steve Madden and OneOne Swimwear on exclusive lines of golf shoes and swimsuits, respectively.
