Natalie Gage made her SI Swimsuit debut as a Swim Search finalist in 2021. The London native moved to New York City to pursue modeling and has been using her growing platform to create change and opportunity in the modeling industry.

She walked the runway during Miami Swim Week in July ’21 and shared the sweetest message on Instagram celebrating the milestone.

“Regardless of what size I’ve been, I’ve always had a resounding love & respect for my body,” Gage wrote. “Full acceptance of every inch of my body inside & out. Trends come & go but what will never go out of fashion is true self acceptance & self love. It’s an energy, it’s a feeling, it’s a continuous journey, it’s contagious, it’s mine & more importantly it’s yours to have too.”

Gage said she hopes to be the representation she lacked seeing when she was young.

“Growing up I never saw anyone that looked like me with natural hair and a bigger bust, so my main inspiration is that hopefully I can be that person I didn’t have and inspire people to be comfortable and unapologetic in themselves,” she explained, adding advice she wishes she could share with her younger self. “The journey will be exciting, challenging, fun, frustrating, exhilarating, testing and at points very difficult, but it will be worth every second—and more importantly, it’s where the greatest growth happens. Just go for it but don’t forget to laugh and always be thankful.”
