She's a young one, what with just turning 21 and all, but her resume? Her portfolio? Well, you'd never know just by looking at the names and campaigns on them. Nina Agdal is a supermodel, and, as a result, is suddenly appearing almost everywhere you turn in lingerie and swimsuit photo shoots and spreads. Nina is one of the newest additions to Sports Illustrated, winning SI Swimsuit Rookie of the Year in 2012and returning in the 2013 issue to shoot with photographer James Macari in Australia and Walter Iooss Jr. for the body paint spread in the Bahamas. One of her most recent and impressive accomplishments, which occurred in July 2012, was the Times Square Billboard that unveiled her as the new face of American Eagle's lingerie line "Aerie".
At just 21 years old and only three short years into what promises to be her very long modeling career, Nina has replaced Gisele Bundchen as the the face and body of Calzedonia swimwear, shot a Carl’s Junior 2013 Superbowl commercial, and starred in Victoria's Secret PINK and Ralph Lauren Rugby campaigns. The 5-foot-9 model was born in Denmark, but she has been making her mark all over Europe and North America. Nina attended the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party as well as some of the top NYFW events including Herve Leger & Christian Siriano.
Let's all send Nina some big birthday wishes and to celebrate her 21st, as well as these amazing accomplishments! Happy Birthday Nina!
