Our 6 Favorite Neon Bikinis From Courtney Conlogue’s SI Swim Photoshoot
Courtney Conlogue first started surfing at the age of 4, and seven years later, she became the youngest athlete to ever be selected to the USA Junior Surf Team. Now, at age 30, the Santa Ana, Calif., native continues to surf professionally and has added model and entrepreneur to her impressive résumé.
Conlogue posed for the 2020 SI Swimsuit Issue, when she traveled to Turks and Caicos with photographer James Macari. Not only was she at home on her surfboard during the photoshoot, but Conlogue also donned a number of incredible neon bikinis that we’re still obsessed with, three years later.
An incredibly skilled competitor, Conlogue told ESPN that some people often overlook the athleticism that’s required of professional surfers.
“I think some people perceive surfing as just a lifestyle sport,” she told the outlet in 2016. “This will be my sixth year competing professionally on the World Tour, and to be involved in something like this goes to show that we do fine-tune our bodies in order to be as strong as we can when we enter the water. During the offseason, I train three to five days a week, and then I train every day in the water. Depending on the way the swell is—because our sport is based on Mother Nature—when the waves are good, I surf probably six hours a day.”
It’s clear that Conlogue is incredibly dedicated to her craft, and the Sea Tiger founder and creator brought that same attitude to her SI Swimsuit feature in paradise, as seen below.
