American professional surfer Malia Manuel has made a name for herself over the years. From becoming the youngest surfer to win the U.S. Open of Surfing in 2008 to Rookie of the Year honors in 2012 and her SI Swimsuit feature in 2020, the Hawai’i native is certainly a force in the surfing world.

For the 30-year-old, surfing is a part of everyday life, and her Instagram is here to prove it. Manuel is always posting the most scenic snaps from her morning and afternoon sessions all over the world, from Hawai’i to Southeast Asia to South Africa. The surfer has been to several different surfing spots across the world in the past month alone, making the most of the warm weather in various climates.

But the professional is back home now, which she announced in a stunning series of black-and-white photos from her recent weeks of surfing and enjoying the warm weather in her home state of Hawai’i.

“b&w at home 🖤,” she captioned the post she shared to her Instagram on Sept. 27. The lead photo featured the stunning Manuel sitting atop her board during one of her many surf sessions, enjoying the waves and scenic views that Hawai’i has to offer. In the other photos, the athlete enjoyed time among the natural landscape of the islands as well as a strength session in the gym.

Though she’s home now, it likely won’t be long before surfing brings the professional to another idyllic destination.
