How to get to third base with Samantha Hoopes

Samantha Hoopes is looking to get to third base—by swiping a bag, that is. 

Tonight's MLB All-Star Game in San Diego is guaranteed to showcase the best and brightest that baseball has to offer. So in the spirit of celebrating America's favorite pastime, we teamed up with the Brooklyn Cyclones to challenge our three-time SI Swimsuit model to learn how to steal a base.

Thankfully a few of the Cyclones' stars were able to take a few minutes out of practice to teach Samantha the importance of accurately estimating distance, keeping an eye out for the shortstop, and watching the pitcher to know when to go. Because you never go in standing up at third!
