An elite athlete and 2023 SI Swimsuit model, Olivia Dunne knows a thing or two about creating content. The LSU gymnast has a combined 12.2 million followers across TikTok and Instagram, where she shares lifestyle and gymnastics-related snippets with her loyal fanbase.

It only made sense, then, for the 21-year-old to document her editorial debut with the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue in Puerto Rico. Dunne filmed a behind the scenes look at her journey to starring in this year’s magazine, beginning with the day before she left Baton Rouge for her photoshoot in the Caribbean.

Dunne showed herself packing her bags and offered up a glimpse at an LSU gymnastics meet before she headed to the airport. As the plane started to touch down in her destination, the New Jersey native clearly couldn’t contain her excitement.

“We just got to Puerto Rico and it is beautiful,” Dunne shared as she panned the camera outside her hotel room window, offering up a stunning view of the lush palm trees and clear water below. “And now I have my fitting. Stay tuned!”

She then provided a quick glimpse of herself in the nail salon as she got a manicure the day before her Wednesday Addams-inspired photoshoot with Ben Watts.

The morning of Dunne’s big day, she was up at 4:50 a.m. and ready to go. She showed off herself in the glam chair, where she worked with makeup artist Bryan Zaragoza and hairstylist Anthony Cristiano, before hitting the beach for her SI Swimsuit debut.
