Ariel Meredith was photographed by Yu Tsai in Montreux, Switzerland.

Of Ariel Meredith’s five years of SI Swimsuit features, only some were the tropical photoshoots that have become a staple for the brand. A few were just a little bit outside of the box—in the most fun way. In 2014, the American model made her way to Montreux, Switzerland, a mountain town situated in the beautiful Swiss Alps, with photographer Yu Tsai.

In her best and brightest bikinis, the model stepped out among the tall grass of the mountain locale, posing before the beautiful scenery of the unique SI Swimsuit set. “Shooting with the Matterhorn as the backdrop was absolutely breathtaking,” she said of the mountains in the background. “It’s just like the essence of beauty.”

In addition to the incredible scenery, the Louisiana native had the chance to do something she’d never done before: work with a handful of sheep by her side. She posed both on the mountain and in the town of Montreux with sheep wandering along beside her and in the background, an added appeal in a set of already charming photos.

“I’m really excited because we’re getting some really great pictures,” she expressed during the photoshoot. “Switzerland was definitely the perfect location for the 50th anniversary. I don’t know where else I would’ve wanted to be besides this place.”

If nothing else, the experience was definitely unique, and the perfect way to celebrate such a big anniversary for the brand. Below are some of the fabulous photos from her scenic trip to Europe.
