Happy birthday, Katie Austin! The SI Swimsuit model and influencer is celebrating her milestone 30th birthday today. The certified fitness trainer and health coach first joined the SI Swimsuit family in 2021, when she co-won the brand’s Swim Search after a photoshoot in Atlantic City with Yu Tsai.

Last year, Austin was named co-Rookie of the Year after a dazzling feature in Montenegro, which was captured by James Macari. The Katie Austin App creator traveled to the Dominican Republic for the 2032 SI Swimsuit Issue, where she posed in front of Macari’s lens for the second year in a row.

Earlier this year, Austin revealed to In the Know that she continues to use her platform to not only provide workout content and healthy recipes, but to foster a community.

“I want to make sure people work hard in their workouts and they’re eating healthy, but at the same time, you’re human. Enjoy your life. My mom [fitness instructor Denise Austin] has always said, ‘One body, one life,’ but at the same time, live in moderation. That’s what life is all about,” she told the outlet. “[I also want to be] making sure people feel seen and know that they’re not alone, because sometimes through social media you can be comparing yourself a lot. I’ve even gotten stuck in those situations before. If I see someone posting some more realistic things or being more real, then I feel less alone. That’s really the entire point of [what I do]. I think social media in general is just becoming more authentic.”

In honor of Austin’s 30th birthday and her commitment to maintaining an authentic social media platform, we’re throwing it back to a few of our favorite snaps from her photoshoot in Montenegro.
