Beauty Influencer Nyma Tang Shines in These 6 Photos From Florida

The social media personality was featured in the 2021 SI Swimsuit Issue along the beaches in Florida.

For beauty influencer Nyma Tang, her main goal has always been to “make people feel beautiful.” The same was true when she made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2021, taking to the beaches of Hollywood, Fla., alongside photographer Ben Watts.

She has always been dedicated to “show[ing] the beauty industry where they’re lacking” and “how they can be better,” she told SI Swimsuit, particularly when it comes to making a fuller range of products that are more inclusive of darker skin tones. It is this advocacy upon which she has developed her social media platform. 

Though not the reason that she pursues advocacy in the industry, Tang is further encouraged by messages from her followers expressing “just how much they’ve been able to fall in love with themselves because they see someone like me doing what I’m doing, being so unapologetic and proud and... loving myself,” she said.

Much of her motivation comes from having six younger sisters, who look up to her. “I wanted them to feel as beautiful as I finally started feeling about myself,” she said.

Tang certainly brought that very beauty to the beaches of Florida in 2021. Below are a few of our favorites from the vibrant photoshoot.

Now through Nov. 1, 100% of SI Swimsuit’s portion of proceeds from cover prints purchased here will be donated to the Maui Strong Fund, which is helping to support the people and places of Maui affected by the recent wildfires.
