Drew Dorsey’s Bikini-Clad 007 Halle Berry Impersonation Is Spot on

Though we can’t pick favorites, the Swim Search finalist just made her case for best costume award.

We’ve made it clear that it would be impossible for us to pick a favorite costume from this year’s outstanding roundup of celebrity getups. While we still resolutely stand by that decision, we have to admit that some outfits are testing our ability to hold back. Though we can’t play favorites, some of them really deserve our attention, and we feel compelled to give it.

One such fabulous look—brought to us by 2022 SI Swim Search finalist Drew Dorsey—featured the best incorporation of glamorous swimwear into a costume that we may have ever seen. As cold climate dwellers, throwing on our best swimwear for a cameo as our favorite bikini-clad movie character has never exactly appealed to us. But for Dorsey, there couldn’t have been a better costume.

The model stepped out for a beachside photoshoot in her best impression of Halle Berry’s character Jinx in Die Another Day, one of the timeless classics in the James Bond franchise. Dorsey wore a burnt orange triangle bikini to match the one worn by Berry in the movie. To that, she added a white leather belt, functioning as her makeshift knife sheath, similar to Jinx’s. Dorsey finished out the look with a close-cropped hairstyle, almost identical to Berry’s in the film.

“I’m not saying you’re Halle Berry, but I will say we have never seen y’all in the same place at the same time 👀👀👀👀 ♥️,” a fan commented on the Instagram post that the model shared of the costume. We couldn’t agree more. Dorsey absolutely nailed her impersonation in the simple, but unmistakable ’fit.
