Leyna Bloom is a real life angel. The three-time SI Swimsuit star just dropped the most stunning throwback pics from her latest shoot with the brand, and we’re reminiscing on the beautiful Dominica moments and begging to be taken back.

The model made history during her 2021 debut in Tampa, Fla., when she landed on the cover of the issue as a rookie, and became the first transgender woman to be featured on the front.

The following year, the actress traveled to Belize and was captured by Yu Tsai. Most recently, the Port Authority star worked with talented visual artist Amanda Pratt for the 2023 issue.

“I felt so connected to Amanda. She is literally God-sent—the most amazing energy, we just vibed right away,” Bloom gushed about the photographer to the magazine during launch week events last year. “It wasn’t a [typical] shoot. It felt like a bunch of girls taking beautiful photos together.”

The activist, dancer and trained hairstylist and makeup artist donned a stunning earthy brown mesh one-piece featuring faux gold flake details in a wing-like pattern, created by Ema Savahl Couture.

“A phoenix in times of pain and uncertainty, will always represent power, transformation and rebirth,” the Illinois native captioned the post shared with her 611,000 followers on Jan. 12. “For your own scared journey, there is never competition it’s just you and the universe and the decisions that will show you that you are a true legend. Be kind to yourself, your current situation will always just be temporary just know the purest elements around you are always rooting for you. @si_swimsuit 🌞.”
