Marquita Pring Shines in These 3 Cut-Out Swimsuits in Barbados

The model has been featured in each annual SI Swimsuit Issue since 2020.

Marquita Pring first joined the SI Swimsuit family in 2020, and has returned to the fold each year since. While her rookie feature took her to Wyoming, where she posed for Ruven Afanador, the New York native has also traveled to Sacramento, Calif., Barbados and Puerto Rico for her work with the magazine, where she’s collaborated with Anne Menke and Ben Watts (twice). 

Prior to her work with SI Swimsuit, Pring made her first major impression in the industry back in 2011. That year, she walked in the Jean Paul Gaultier show during Paris Fashion Week and appeared in a Vogue Italia cover story.

Pring regularly uses her platform to remind her followers that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. She also hopes to break barriers for models and is a vocal supporter of Black-owned brands and businesses.

“I think it’s really important that, at this point in the world, in our lives right now, with everything that is happening, we make a serious effort to support the Black community...,” she told us in 2021. “It’s very important that we all start prioritizing Black companies and don’t just make it a trend. Be consistent.”

When she traveled to the Caribbean country of Barbados for her photoshoot last year, Pring donned several bright and beautiful swimwear looks on the beach. And while they were all equally stunning, we often bring ourselves back to several of the cut-out monokinis she sported in the sand.
