The Pro Golfers Who Graced the Pages of the SI Swimsuit Issue

Paige Spiranac and Natalie Gulbis are just a few incredible athletes who have been photographed for the magazine.

The SI Swimsuit Issue is known to include people who are trailblazers in the modeling and fashion industries or experts in their field—in addition to being beautiful and brilliant women. The magazine also often includes athletes who are changing the narrative about what it means to be a strong woman in sports.

LSU athletes Angel Reese and Olivia Dunne made their debuts in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, while five WNBA champions were photographed for the magazine last year. In ’21, Naomi Osaka was featured in the issue and a year prior, three pro surfers were photographed in Turks and Caicos.

Pro golfer Natalie Gulbis was featured in a body paint photo shoot with artist Joanne Gair and photographer Kayt Jones in 2012. She donned a green bikini with white polka dots and hot pink straps while she posed in a New York studio.

While not a pro, actress Kelly Rohrbach attended Georgetown University on a Division 1 golf scholarship and made her debut with the magazine in 2015 with Yu Tsai in Big Sur, Calif. She returned the following year to be photographed by Ben Watts in Malta.

Pro turned social media influencer Paige Spiranac, who is the most-followed golfer in the world, appeared in the magazine in 2018, and posed for a famous motorcycle snapshot with James Macari in Aruba.

Below are some of our favorite photos of Gulbis and Spiranac.
