The Beautiful Drew Dorsey Brought the Best Energy in These 4 Photos From the Dominican Republic

The 2022 Swim Search finalist’s great attitude made for a fabulous feature.

Drew Dorsey has proven herself a woman of many talents. In addition to her career as a TV host and actress, the California native is a successful model. It is that side of her work that brought her to the Swim Search in 2022, and which landed her a feature in the SI Swimsuit Issue.

A finalist for the year’s open casting call, the model traveled to the Dominican Republic with photographer Yu Tsai and the 12 other finalists, posing on the tropical beaches for her stunning feature. The Los Angeles native was fulfilling a long-time aspiration when she set foot on set to pose for a series of brilliant photos.

“As cheesy as it sounds ... my dreams inspired me,” she told the team at the time. “Becoming a SI Swimsuit model has had full real estate on my vision board for years so when I found out about Swim Search I was like, ‘Shut up, they opened up this opportunity for anyone to audition?? Done. Auditioning every year until it happens.’”

Luckily for her, it did happen. And, in the end, joining the SI Swimsuit family lived up to all of her expectations. ”When I tell you all of the women are incredible, I mean incredible,” she said. “Everyone is so supportive and encouraging of one another, which can often be hard to come by in the industry, unfortunately. So it’s a breath of fresh air to be among such kind and genuine people.”

Dorsey brought both her incredible modeling skills and her great attitude to the set of her photoshoot, and the results speak for themselves. Here are a handful of her fabulous photos.
