Inside Night One of the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue Launch Party in Florida

Franchise models walked the red carpet and took the stage at a Kim Petras concert.

SI Swimsuit models landed in Miami on Friday afternoon and headed to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood to kickstart a weekend full of fun. After jetting over from New York City’s red carpet premiere on a private plane, yesterday evening’s festivities in Hollywood, Fla., began with an additional red carpet full of glam, showstopping outfits.

Lorena Durán wore a gorgeous rainbow gown with side cut-outs, while 2023 cover model Megan Fox turned heads in a fitted brown mesh dress with a plunging neckline.

Katie Austin, last year’s co-Rookie of the Year, donned a sheer green halter neck gown, and Ellie Thumann served legs in a sparkly purple gown with hip-high slits on both sides. See a dozen of our favorite looks from last night’s red carpet event here.

Post red-carpet, the models mingled and enjoyed a VIP cocktail hour with light fare before heading to an incredible concert put on by 2023 cover girl Kim Petras. Not only did the SI Swimsuit talent get to enjoy the show from a VIP area, the models also joined the Grammy Award-winning artist onstage for her performance of “Coconuts.”

Petras performed 14 hit songs throughout the show, including “Unholy,” for which she won a Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Grammy in February with collaborator Sam Smith, becoming the first transgender woman to do so.
