Professional surfer Caroline Marks is an Olympic champion and WSL World Title winner. She started surfing competitively at the age of 8, and three years later, the Boca Raton, Fla., native became the youngest surfer ever selected to the USA National Team. Marks went on to earn Rookie of the Year honors after becoming the youngest athlete to ever qualify for the WSL Championship Tour in 2017.
When surfing officially became an Olympic sport at the 2020 games in Tokyo, Marks qualified for the U.S. team and earned a fourth-place podium finish. Several years later, she won the 2023 World Surf League title in September of that year, then went on to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Marks earned the gold medal in surfing. The athlete is sponsored by notable brands like Roxy, Red Bull and Freestyle USA.
