Chanel Iman: 2024 Belize

Chanel Iman was photographed by Derek Kettela in Belize for the 2024 SI Swimsuit Issue, along with fellow models Xandra Pohl, Berkleigh Wright, Nina Agdal, Lauren Wasser, Kamie Crawford, Yumi Nu, Sixtine, Brittany Mahomes, Jas Williams, Jillian Hayes and Alexa Massari.

Iman has previously posed for three consecutive SI Swimsuit Issues, starting with her 2014 debut in Madagascar. Her work with the brand also took her to Utah and Zanzibar. Iman is a proud mother who has worked with notable fashion brands including Bottega Veneta, Marc Jacobs and Valentino. She is known for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and has also collaborated with companies like Ralph Lauren, Gap, Express and DKNY. The 2024 SI Swimsuit Issue marks Iman’s fourth appearance in the annual publication.

Found on the eastern coast of Central America, Belize is known for its beautiful beaches, diverse topography and authentic local culture. Placencia, where Iman was photographed for this year’s magazine, is a small peninsula located in southeastern Belize, which boasts unmatched views of the Caribbean Sea. The secluded and quaint area appears virtually untouched and created a remarkable backdrop for the 2024 SI Swimsuit Issue.

In order to enhance the truly breathtaking clear blue waters in Belize, the SI Swimsuit team opted for all white when it came to styling in Placencia. It was all about suits that featured unique textures, intricate cut-outs and fun silhouettes, all in various shades of ivory, cream and eggshell.
