Yumi Nu

Yumi Nu made history in April 2022 when she became the first plus-size model on the cover of Vogue Japan, and just a month later landed on the cover of the SI Swimsuit issue.

The New Jersey native, who now splits her time between Los Angeles and New York City, is the true definition of a triple-threat: model, musician and designer. She began singing lessons at age 12, was writing songs by 15 and soon after was signed to the Dim Mak Records label. Her music pulls from alt-R&B and indie influences, and she‘s constantly using her platform to share snippets of her creativity with the world.

Nu launched her clothing brand Blueki in October 2022, after personally struggling to find ethically sourced plus-size clothing. The company’s mission is to provide anyone of any size with high-quality, timeless pieces that are made with care.
