An Australian native, Georgina Burke moved to London at the age of 17 to pursue modeling as a full-time career. She has since worked with such brands as Saks Fifth Avenue, J.Crew, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. Burke has also modeled swimwear for Polo Ralph Lauren and was previously the face of Torrid’s swimsuit line.

A body positivity activist, Burke is outspoken regarding size diversity in the fashion world. To help support women of all shapes and sizes, she founded Burke NYC, her own size-friendly and fully adjustable line of swimwear, in 2019. In late ’22, she expanded her venture with the Burke NYC Body Collection, a line of self-tanning products. Burke made her SI Swimsuit debut in the ’22 issue.
